About The Position

Study of the traditional and contemporary arts of the Inuit and Amerindian peoples in their anthropological, historical and political contexts. This class will be offered in person. Applicants are reminded of the importance of ensuring that ALL prior experience and relevant credentials are reflected in their curriculum vitae. This course will be taught by distance learning at the times indicated. The university provides training and technical support for the use of distance learning resources.

Requirements

  • Ph. D. in History of Art or equivalent
  • Teaching experience at post-secondary level
  • Publications
  • Competence in second language (English/French)

Nice To Haves

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Indigenous Art course (ART3354A)
