About The Position
A hands-on, team-based introduction to product development and management principles for engineers and computer scientists and their impact on social and economic aspects of engineering practice. Topics include creativity and innovation product development process, engineering project management, market evaluation and identification, engineering economics, technology entrepreneurship.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Engineering design, demonstrated by having taught similar courses or by relevant work experience specifically in design.
- Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer.
- Competence in a second language (active).

- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Introduction to Product Development and Management for Engineers and Computer Scientists (GNG2101 Section A)
- Develop and deliver course content
- Assess student performance
- Engage in team-based learning activities
- Incorporate principles of creativity, innovation, product development, project management, market evaluation, engineering economics, and technology entrepreneurship.
