About The Position

HOKALI is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated After School Enrichment Educator with Hip Hop teaching experience. The role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming and creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. The educator will work with students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade, leading recreational and enrichment activities and supporting positive social interactions.

The program is in Sunnyvale, California, and runs on Tuesdays through December 15, 2026. The schedule is 3:00–4:00 PM for grades K–2 and 4:00–5:00 PM for grades 3–5. Pay is $60 per hour. Structured lesson plans are provided, with flexibility for educators to bring their own ideas to class.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hip Hop teaching experience is sought.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, and keep spaces clean and safe.
