About The Position

HOKALI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hip Hop Enrichment Educator to supervise and engage students during after-school enrichment programming in Sunnyvale, California. The role involves working with students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade and creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. The schedule is Tuesdays: K–2 from 3:00–4:00 PM and grades 3–5 from 4:00–5:00 PM. The program has already started and ends December 15, 2026. Pay is $60 per hour. Structured lesson plans are provided, with flexibility to bring your own ideas to class.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hip Hop teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.
