About The Position

HOKALI is seeking a dedicated educator with Hip Hop teaching experience to supervise and engage students during after-school enrichment programming in Sunnyvale, California. The role involves creating safe, supportive, and engaging learning experiences for students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. The schedule is Tuesdays, with classes for K–2 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM and grades 3–5 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. The program has already started and ends December 15, 2026. Pay is $60 per hour. Structured lesson plans are provided, with flexibility to bring personal ideas to class.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Hip Hop teaching experience.
• Ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, and keep spaces clean and safe.
