About The Position

HOKALI is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated After School Enrichment Educators to supervise and engage students during after-school enrichment programming. The role is suited to educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and want to create safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. HOKALI is actively seeking instructors with Hip Hop teaching experience.

The program is in Sunnyvale, California, and is scheduled on Tuesdays through December 15, 2026. Classes are K–2 from 3:00–4:00 PM and grades 3–5 from 4:00–5:00 PM. The pay rate is $60 per hour. Educators supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade, while the listed Hip Hop classes are for K–5.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able and willing to complete 3 hours of online training.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, and keep spaces clean and safe.
