About The Position

HOKALI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hip Hop Enrichment Educator to supervise and engage students during after-school enrichment programming. The role is intended for someone with Hip Hop teaching experience who can create safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. The educator will work with students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, leading recreational and enrichment activities and supporting positive social interactions.

The schedule has already started and ends December 15, 2026. Classes are held Tuesdays, with K–2 from 3:00–4:00 PM and grades 3–5 from 4:00–5:00 PM. The location is Sunnyvale, California, and pay is $60 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have Hip Hop teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.
