About The Position

This role involves supporting the mission of Hillcrest Transitional Housing by processing and selling merchandise on eBay. Volunteers will identify, research, pack, and ship items, contributing to funding for the organization's programs and diverting donations from landfills. The position offers training and support, with a required commitment of a minimum three-hour weekly shift. Available shifts are Monday-Friday from 10 am to 1 pm, 1 pm to 4 pm, or 4 pm to 7 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Interest in researching merchandise on-line.
• Follow eBay handling and processing procedures.
• Commit to a minimum weekly shift of three hours.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the mission of Hillcrest Transitional Housing in interactions with shoppers, donors, staff, and other volunteers.
• Identify, research, pack, and ship eBay merchandise as instructed by management.
• Maintain a clean and orderly eBay processing area.
