About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support a financial retail banking client on their projects. This remote role, based in the Pacific Time Zone, will focus on managing a large volume of projects including HVAC, roofing, and parking lot upgrades. The role involves providing consulting services to help achieve strategic business objectives, managing all aspects of real estate projects from planning to closeout, and working directly with clients to define project scope, requirements, budget, schedule, and risk mitigation plans. The ideal candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of project management principles, possess strong organizational and analytical skills, and be able to coach others and explain complex information effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources through pre-qualified lists or qualification processes, conduct RFPs, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation accuracy, timeliness, and coordination.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule, and track project progress, reporting status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.
