About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide consulting services to a financial retail banking client. This remote role, based in the Central Time Zone, will focus on supporting a large volume of projects including HVAC, roofing, and parking lot upgrades. The position involves managing all aspects of real estate projects from planning through closeout, working directly with clients to define project scope, budget, schedule, and risk mitigation strategies. The role requires proficiency in project management tools and strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources through pre-qualified lists or qualification processes, conduct RFPs, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation accuracy, timeliness, and coordination.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule, and track project progress, reporting status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
