About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide consulting services to a financial retail banking client. This remote role, based in the Mountain time zone, will support a high volume of projects focused on HVAC, roofing, and parking lot upgrades. The project manager will oversee all aspects of real estate projects from planning through closeout, working directly with clients to define scope, requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality control. The role involves managing project delivery teams, tracking progress, reporting variances, and developing risk mitigation plans. The position requires applying in-depth knowledge of construction principles and techniques, coaching others, and impacting operational and project activities within the team and related teams, working within broad guidelines and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction preferred.
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process, conduct standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation accuracy, timeliness, and coordination.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track project progress and report status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
