About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide consulting services to a financial retail banking client. This remote role, based in the Pacific Time Zone, will focus on supporting a large volume of projects including HVAC, roofing, and parking lot upgrades. The project manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of real estate projects from planning through closeout, working directly with clients to define scope, requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality control. The role involves managing project delivery teams, ensuring data integrity, and developing risk mitigation plans. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to provide innovative solutions. The role may also involve SOX control responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process.
  • Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements, ensuring project data integrity and accuracy.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track project progress and report status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.
