About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support a financial retail banking client on their projects. This role involves managing a high volume of projects focused on HVAC, roofing, and parking lot upgrades. The position is remote and requires the candidate to be located in the Mountain time zone. The project manager will be responsible for consulting services to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives, managing all areas of project management from planning through closeout, and working directly with clients to define project scope, budget, schedule, and quality control. The role also includes managing the request for proposals process, implementing project documentation governance, directing the project delivery team, tracking progress, reporting status, and developing risk mitigation plans. The ideal candidate will apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to complex assignments and coach others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction preferred.
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be located in the Mountain time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process.
  • Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
