About The Position

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical Unit. The role involves working the night shift, with scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Flexibility is required as the nurse will be expected to work various shift lengths and days, with no guarantee of hours or shift preference. The position requires the nurse to be proficient in general medical-surgical adult care and may involve floating to the Laulima Unit or Cardiovascular Unit. Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception is required prior to the contract start date.

Requirements

• Active State of HI license required.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• 2-10 years of experience.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• Ability to float to Laulima Unit and Cardiovascular Unit.
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception application.

Responsibilities

• Work the night shift for a 13-week contract.
• Provide nursing care in a Medical Unit.
