HI-OR Scrub Tech (07/27)
About The Position
This is a Scrub Tech position in an Operating Room. The role involves assisting with turnover cleaning and transporting patients when needed. The candidate must have an active State of Hawaii license by the start of the assignment. The department operates from 0645-2315 with variable shifts based on department needs, typically 40 hours per week, with a possibility of 32 hours if a holiday falls within the week. Call coverage is 24/7, averaging 1-2 times a week, plus up to 2 weekends a month, with a 20-minute call back time. The facility has 1-2 outpatient GI labs, running 1-2 rooms simultaneously daily. It is described as a small, busy, and efficient OR. Scrubs are provided. Orientation will be on day shift for up to a week or until the manager's discretion. Travelers must complete a minimum of 39 shifts if requested time off is requested.
Requirements
- Active State of Hawaii license required by the start of the assignment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience scrubbing cases in a hospital setting.
- BLS/BCLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Endoscopy cases.
Responsibilities

- Independently scrub for General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology procedures.
