About The Position

The Hi-Lo Driver operates a forklift to transport merchandise and materials throughout the club, assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks, inspect and receive incoming merchandise, prepare pallets, perform general maintenance and safety procedures, follow club policies and procedures, and provide positive service to Members. The position is full-time and overnight. The stated pay range is $16.75–$20.53; actual pay may vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift operating experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently; inspect it before use and follow established safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials from delivery trucks, inspect trucks before unloading, and accurately receive deliveries.
• Lift, reserve, and drop merchandise pallets to and from overhead steel and the sales floor; wrap, strap, stack, and label pallets and correct broken pallets.
• Transport merchandise, materials, and pallets safely throughout the club, using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general and food merchandise; keep merchandise fully stocked and handle damaged or spoiled goods according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard and performing general maintenance duties.
• Participate in daily club openings and closings and return merchandise to the sales floor.
• Greet Members, provide prompt and courteous assistance, and help them locate merchandise.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties and work in other departments as needed.
