About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking compassionate, bilingual Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants who can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support clients in their homes. Home care aides provide personal care and homemaker services while maintaining a safe, healthy environment according to each client's individualized plan of care.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene and grooming, including shower, tub, or bed baths
- Help clients use toilet facilities, including bedpans
- Provide skin care, observe for pressure areas/sores, and follow preventive measures
- Assist with walking and mobility, including use of walkers, canes, and wheelchairs
- Cue clients for self-administered medications
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed
- Observe, report, and document client status and care provided
- Practice basic infection control procedures
- Document changes in client status and report to appropriate staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in the client's home
