About The Position

Seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Lapeer, MI. This outpatient role involves providing clinical care and optional call coverage. The physician will manage adult patients with hematology and oncology cases, participate in tumor board meetings, and collaborate with a dedicated support staff. The coverage period is ongoing, starting September 14, 2026, with clinic hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Active Michigan License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• NPDB report (obtained in the last 30 days).
• Cerner EMR proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care to adult patients.
• Participate in tumor board meetings.
• Manage clinic patients on assigned days (Mon, Wed, Fri).
• Provide clinic call as needed (optional).
• Collaborate with support staff including RNs, MAs, social worker, dietitian, nurse navigator.
