About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician Assistant specializing in Hematology & Oncology. The role is based in an inpatient setting at a facility in Rockport, ME. The coverage period is from October 1st and ongoing, with a focus on clinical duties only. The typical shift schedule involves 4 days a week, with 10-hour shifts. The preferred schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The initial contract is for 4 months. The patient volume is expected to be between 8-12 adults per day. The practice currently has 2 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The locum will work at a single site, and there are no residents at the practice.

Requirements

• Active ME License
• Board Certified (BC)
• NPDB report (pulled within the last month or within 90 days)
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience in both inpatient heme and chemotherapy ordering
• Experience using EMR & EPIC
