About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology & Oncology in an outpatient setting in Seaside, OR. The role involves managing hematology oncology patients, overseeing patients in the infusion suite, handling in-basket management, responding to lab results, and collaborating with an oncology navigator and a multidisciplinary team. The position is for clinical coverage only, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm. The average daily patient volume is 10.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Licensed in OR (Active)
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- AONCP certification
- EMR proficiency (Epic)
- Team-based care experience
Responsibilities
- Manage hematology oncology patients in outpatient clinic setting.
- Oversee patients in infusion suite.
- Handle in-basket management and respond to patient lab results.
- Collaborate with oncology navigator to triage calls.
- Work independently and with oncologist as part of multidisciplinary team.
