This top regional referral hospital in Southern Alabama is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary Cancer Center serving a 13-county region across Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist.
- Ability to practice in a multidisciplinary Cancer Center.
- Willingness to engage in academic collaboration and teaching.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with UAB Cancer Care Network protocols and resources.
- Familiarity with Cerner (hospital) and Athena (clinic) EMR systems.
Responsibilities
- Balance of inpatient and outpatient care.
- Provide care within a hospital-based Cancer Center with onsite infusion and radiation therapy.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists for treatment planning.
- Participate in teaching opportunities with residents and medical students.
