About The Position
Join a growing and highly respected Cardiovascular Institute in Southern Alabama, a regional leader in advanced heart care. We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Electrophysiologist to join a high-performing and collaborative Cardiology team. This role offers the unique ability to focus exclusively on EP procedures. Our CV program is nationally ranked in the top 10% for patient safety in heart attack, interventional coronary, and vascular care. This opportunity provides access to modern EP and Cath Labs, a large referral base across three states, and a supportive infrastructure that allows EP physicians to do what they do best - specialized, high-quality procedures.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Electrophysiologist.
- Ability to focus exclusively on EP procedures.
- Access to modern EP and Cath Labs.
- Supportive infrastructure for EP physicians.
- Robust IM Hospitalist service manages all admissions and general medical care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with advanced cardiac imaging, PET, CT, MRI, and Watchman/TAVR technologies.
- Academic affiliation experience.
Responsibilities
- Focus exclusively on EP procedures, with no general cardiology or admissions.
- Perform procedures including pacers, CRT, VT & AF ablations, and heart failure devices.
- Utilize modern EP and Cath Lab facilities with state-of-the-art technology.
- Collaborate within a physician-led Cardiovascular Institute.
- Work with a supportive infrastructure and a large referral base.
