This specific opportunity is in Bakersfield, CA, seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. Providers will be cross-credentialed at Adventist Health Bakersfield, Adventist Health Specialty Bakersfield, Delano Regional Medical Center, and Tehachapi Valley Healthcare District. The practice at Adventist Health Bakersfield has an annual volume of approximately 9,000+ patients, with a daily census between 20-40. Sub-specialty backup includes cardiology, hospitalist, ICU, nephrology, and neurology. The practice utilizes Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation and has 24/7 x-ray, CT, US, and MRI resources. Bakersfield, California, is described as a desirable place to live and work, offering a strong job market, affordable living, and recreational activities, with proximity to natural attractions like the Kern River, Sierra Nevada mountains, and Sequoia National Park.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
- Current CA state license is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in the Emergency Medicine department.
- Work across multiple sites including Adventist Health Bakersfield, Delano Regional Medical Center, and Tehachapi Valley Healthcare District.
- Collaborate with sub-specialty backup teams including cardiology, hospitalist, ICU, nephrology, and neurology.
- Utilize Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation for patient charting.
