About The Position

Helpers serve as assistants to production work centers across the production buildings. They assist with maintenance tasks assigned by staff, with specific tasks varying according to staff needs and the work required to support production of parts. The role includes supporting production operations, maintaining clean and safe work areas, moving and preparing materials, and assisting operators with basic machine-tool setup and operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow instructions and be safety-oriented, productive, efficient, punctual, and attentive to good housekeeping.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production work centers across all buildings.
• Clean and maintain a safe, organized production area, including indoor and outdoor areas.
• Sweep, mop, and remove debris from floors, equipment, parts, and machines.
• Load and unload items from machines, cranes, carts, and dollies.
• Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
• Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials to prepare for machinery work.
• Assist operators in setting up, adjusting, and operating basic machine tools for precision machining operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
