About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dependable operator to join the winter/snow operations team. This is strictly snow-related work: employees work when it snows and are off when it does not. The position involves operating various types of equipment during overnight, early morning, and extended storm events.

The schedule is on-call and weather-dependent, with long, variable shifts depending on snowfall. Overnight and early morning availability is required. This is a seasonal position with no guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Prior snow removal experience or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work long hours during snow events.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
• Pass a DOT-required drug screen.
• Available for overnight and early morning operations.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and icy conditions.
• Ability to climb in and out of equipment repeatedly.
• Ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs as required by job duties.

Nice To Haves

• Skid steer or heavy equipment experience.
• Familiarity with commercial sites.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial snow plowing and snow relocation according to site plans.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently in winter conditions.
• Monitor site conditions and maintain cleared surfaces throughout storm events.
• Communicate with supervisors about site conditions, equipment issues, or delays.
• Perform basic equipment inspections before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow all safety protocols and company snow procedures.
• Be reliable and responsive during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
