About The Position

The Prime Products Sales/Heavy Equipment Representative is responsible for selling prime construction equipment within their assigned territory. You will maintain awareness of competitors and different construction phases to identify a variety of sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous outside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Strong knowledge of the construction equipment market and how equipment is used on job sites
  • Confident presenting and communicating with customers in both verbal and written formats
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude and self-starter mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience specifically in the construction or equipment industry
  • Hands-on construction experience that gives insight into customer needs
  • College degree or relevant technical education

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow your assigned sales territory, building strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand market share and maximize revenue
  • Develop quotes, pricing, credit terms, and prepare contracts to meet customer needs
  • Advise customers on equipment selection, specifications, and best practices for their projects
  • Represent the company at training sessions, sales meetings, and trade shows to showcase your expertise
  • Travel as needed to support your territory, training, and other company locations
