About The Position

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Heavy Equipment Processor at its equipment processing center in Victoria, Texas. The role involves handling construction and agricultural equipment in a shop and yard environment, including loading and unloading equipment for receipt or shipment, operating material-handling machinery, and moving equipment between the factory and yard. The position requires work outdoors in reasonable weather conditions and the ability to handle shipping and receiving paperwork.

The work environment includes frequent exposure to dust, dirt, rain, fumes, fluids, and other elements or chemicals associated with operating construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, welding, and painting.

Requirements

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in reasonable weather conditions.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Steel-toed boots or shoes.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction equipment to and from trailers for receipt or shipment from the yard.
• Safely operate lift trucks, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
• Drive and operate equipment, including backing up and moving attachments to facilitate transport.
• Work outside in reasonable weather conditions.
• Read and interpret shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets, and export documentation.
• Drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution.
