About The Position

The Heavy Equipment Operator communicates with a supervisor about the daily operating schedule, prepares equipment for startup according to established procedures, and completes daily maintenance log sheets. The operator sorts and moves material as needed, shuts down the loader according to established procedures, and cleans the work area. Other duties may be assigned.

The role requires a certified loader operator who can work in all types of weather, frequently work at heights, understand and follow safety regulations, work as part of a team, and meet vision and hearing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the supervisor about the daily operation schedule.
• Prepare for startup according to established procedures and complete daily maintenance log sheets.
• Sort and move material as necessary.
• Shut down the loader according to established procedures.
• Clean up the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
