About The Position

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Manufacturing Heavy Equipment Processor at its equipment processing center in Brunswick, Georgia. The role involves handling construction and other heavy equipment for receiving, storage, and shipment. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour. Employees work in a safety-first environment that may include indoor and outdoor settings and varying weather and environmental conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping and receiving.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in reasonable weather conditions.
• Current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction equipment to and from trailers for receipt or shipment from the yard.
• Safely operate a lift truck, overhead crane, or other material-handling equipment.
• Drive and operate equipment, including backing up and raising, lowering, or tilting attachments to facilitate transport.
• Work outdoors in reasonable weather conditions.
• Read and interpret shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets, and export documentation.
• Drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution using a current driver's license.
