About The Position
Industrial Civil Construction Company looking for full time Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic. Experience with gas & diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems required. Experience with computer diagnostics and various makes and models of equipment. Ability to communicate and diagnose repairs. Credited diesel mechanical or trade certifications a plus, but not required.
Requirements
- Experience with gas & diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems required.
- Experience with computer diagnostics and various makes and models of equipment.
- Ability to communicate and diagnose repairs.
- Must have Valid driver's license w/ability to obtain TWIC if necessary
- Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions.
- Must be willing to assume the physical risks of working in an outdoor environment which includes but is not limited to dust, construction equipment, heat and/or cold.
- Must have ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Credited diesel mechanical or trade certifications a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair of equipment as needed.
- Log service repairs on equipment. Understanding of corrective, PM, and breakdown repairs.
- Understand and follow OSHA guidelines of equipment and PPE.
- Operate equipment when needed.
