About The Position
Under the supervision of the Public Space Supervisor, the Heavy Duty Porter performs heavy-duty housekeeping duties throughout the casino property. The work includes floor and carpet care, detailed cleaning of equipment, washing, sweeping, sanitizing, trash removal, and grounds maintenance. The role is performed in a hectic, fast-paced casino environment that may be crowded and noisy, with possible exposure to secondhand smoke and other casino-related environmental factors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of experience with commercial or industrial cleaning equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and remain on one's feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, and climb continuously.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting and carrying of weights over 25 pounds, reaching, stooping, squatting, and bending.
- Ability to perform the job's essential functions with or without accommodation.
- Final candidates must obtain gaming licensure through a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before an offer is extended.
