About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Houseperson to help maintain hotel public areas and assist with guest-room cleaning and guest requests. The role supports the company’s hospitality-focused service culture and works to meet cleanliness and quality standards. The position may require work at night, on weekends, and on holidays. Other duties may be assigned. The hiring process may include a phone interview, interviews with managers, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment. Paid Time Off is available to eligible associates under the Company’s policy. Specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

High school education.
At least one year of experience in a housekeeping role.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Knowledge of cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells, to meet quality standards.
When necessary, strip guest rooms of linen and trash.
Clean bathrooms; dust furniture and pictures; vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash.
Remove spots, insects, and debris; polish fixtures; and clean ashtrays.
Deliver items to rooms upon request and assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
