About The Position

The Public Area Attendant/Cleaner is responsible for keeping public spaces clean and ensuring guest rooms are cleaned as needed. The role contributes to a welcoming, home-away-from-home experience for guests and includes providing helpful customer service, such as giving directions, making recommendations, and answering questions. Duties include cleaning lobby restrooms and public areas, handling hotel garbage and recycling, and delivering requested items to guest rooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by giving directions, making recommendations, and answering guest questions.
• Clean lobby restrooms by mopping and dusting, refilling paper supplies, and replenishing soap.
• Collect and properly dispose of hotel garbage and recycling.
• Deliver towels, toiletries, and other items to guest rooms as needed.
• Vacuum and maintain public areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
