About The Position
The Public Area Attendant/Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of public spaces and guest rooms as needed. Public Area Cleaners play an important role in creating a home-away-from-home experience for guests each day. The role also involves providing helpful customer service to guests and completing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by giving directions, making recommendations, and answering guests’ questions.
- Clean lobby restrooms by mopping and dusting, refilling paper supplies, and replenishing soaps.
- Collect and properly dispose of hotel garbage and recycling.
- Deliver towels, toiletries, or other items to guest rooms as needed.
- Vacuum and maintain public areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
