About The Position

Paulo Products is hiring a Heat Treat Specialist for its Willoughby, Ohio plant. This is a permanent production position with opportunities to grow within the company. Heat-treating experience is not necessary; the company values a willingness to learn, grow, and improve skills. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The position pays $20.16 per hour, with a shift premium of $1.00 for second shift and $1.10 for third shift. Schedules include weekends, and overtime is mandatory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable attendance; attendance is essential for success.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, including THC screening.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and improve skills; prior heat-treating experience is not required.
• Availability for schedules that include weekends and mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities

• Transport parts to production staging areas using forklifts, hoists, or pallet jacks.
• Pack production parts in preparation for heat treatment or metal finishing.
• Unpack and repack finished parts in customer containers for shipment.
• Verify part numbers and match them to shipping documents and work orders.
• Operate various plant equipment.
• Communicate production problems to a supervisor and/or operator.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep the work area orderly.
• Perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks.
