About The Position

This role involves operating furnaces on the Bomb lines, ensuring parts meet pre-determined quality standards, and accurately tracking parts and labor through the CIMA system. The position requires adherence to Standard Operating Instructions (SOI's), maintaining logbooks, and performing SPC reporting as needed. The operator will work with minimal supervision and must be able to use various gauges and instruments.

Requirements

• Knowledge and ability to use all gages and instruments required to related job tasks
• Functional math skills required to complete job tasks
• Communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to handle parts weighing up to fifty (50) lbs. and heavier parts with the use of power devices
• Normal vision or correctable to perform job tasks
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate either furnace on the Bomb lines
• Check parts and review quality to pre-determine standards
• Read and follow SOI’s
• Input data into CIMA system for accurate labor reporting and part tracking
• Perform SPC reporting as required
• Maintain accurate logbooks
