About The Position

American Health Associates is seeking a dynamic and passionate Healthcare Recruiter to help attract and hire exceptional talent across our growing organization. This is more than a recruiting role—it's an opportunity to serve as a strategic partner in building teams that support quality patient care and operational excellence. AHA’s Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, creativity in recruiting, strong relationship-building abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Data driven decision making skills required.
  • Knowledge of healthcare credentialing and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other sourcing tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for laboratory, phlebotomy, or other healthcare positions preferred.
  • SHRM, PHR, or other HR/recruiting certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions.
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and other recruiting channels.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and department leaders.
  • Maintain a robust candidate pipeline to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top healthcare talent.
  • Promote the organization's employment brand and culture to prospective candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Facilitate the hiring process, including offer preparation, background checks, and onboarding coordination.
  • Build relationships with healthcare schools, professional associations, and community organizations to expand recruiting efforts.
  • Attend job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences as needed.
