About The Position

This role is responsible for directing the scope, schedule, and budget for healthcare capital projects throughout the planning, design, bid management, and construction phases. The manager will track real-time performance using earned value, budget burn, percent complete, and effort forecasting to optimize project delivery within constraints. A key aspect of the role involves ensuring strict adherence to healthcare safety codes, regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and national construction frameworks. Additionally, the manager will implement robust quality assurance protocols and warranty management to maintain high-quality work and operational safety across facility renovations. This position requires coordination with cross-functional teams, architects, engineers, and hospital staff to align strategic goals, define roles, and meet project timelines.

Requirements

  • Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Construction Professional preferred.
  • Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).
  • Project Mgmt Professional preferred.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) accepted.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Low voltage experience is strongly preferred.
