About The Position

This role will be on-site Monday-Friday with hours between 7am-5pm. The primary duties include direct patient registration, patient insurance, billing and collections to ensure accurate patient billing and efficient account collection. The representative will need a broad knowledge of front office practices and procedures, including the Company’s Electronic Medical Records system (EMR), and a broad understanding of insurance practices and procedures. Responsibilities also include assisting with billing related issues, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards of performance for quality care, answering telephones, assisting with patient check-in/check-out, directing patient requests or questions to the appropriate provider, scheduling appointments, providing assistance to other office staff as needed, maintaining excellent customer service skills in dealings with patients, coworkers, and the public, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Related work and other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of front office practices and procedures, including the Company’s Electronic Medical Records system (EMR).
  • Broad understanding of insurance practices and procedures.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Willingness to answer high volume calls (if no call center experience).
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to schedule appointments.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Proficiency working with computers is a must.

  • Call Center experience highly preferred
