Healthcare Business Analyst / Benefits Analyst (NASCO)
About The Position
This role is for a Healthcare Business Analyst / Benefits Analyst with strong experience in NASCO 3270 Mainframe. The position involves preparing and executing test claims for all lines of business, demonstrating a strong knowledge of professional and facility medical claims. The analyst will be responsible for interpreting business documents and translating them into business requirements, with a solid understanding of Medical Benefits and Payment Policy. Experience with NASCO Classic group benefits and claims processing is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint. The ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams is also required.
Requirements
- Strong experience with NASCO 3270 Mainframe
- Strong knowledge of professional and facility medical claims
- Ability to interpret business documents and translate them into business requirements

- Ability to read and interpret Benefit File Code, GENO Tables, Procedure & Diagnosis Files
- Experience writing queries
- Experience with Excel macros
- Experience creating and updating CSR documentation
