Entry Level - Healthcare Administrative Assistant
About The Position
Responsible for obtaining referrals from each patients’ primary care physician (PCP) office for all scheduled visits as well as verifying current insurance. Obtains referrals for office visits for all locations. Coordinate and schedule all incoming referrals. Routinely checks physicians’ schedules for any additional add-on appointments requiring referrals. Serves as a cardiology representative to referring physician offices, insurance carriers and patients. Ability to communicate with billing department Aegis as needed. Collaborate with the PSR department to ensure all referrals are facilitated.
Requirements
- Min 1 year face to face customer service experine
- Can come from a retail background
- Perfect candidate looking to grow / start their career in the healthcare field
- High School Diploma required
