About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Cardiac Outpatient Unit at the Heart Center Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. Health Unit Coordinators perform secretarial activities for the nursing unit and support a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week days position, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Answer call lights and phone calls promptly.
- Order and take inventory of unit supplies and equipment.
- Maintain patient chart folders.
- Greet and assist customers while adhering to service excellence principles.
- Maintain a neat and orderly nursing station.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
