About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a full-time Clinical Resource Coordinator specializing in Plastics to join the Main OR team at Baptist Downtown. The coordinator is the service specialist for Plastics and supports perioperative care by coordinating and preparing assigned rooms and cases, assessing patients, and anticipating case needs. The role may perform any service role, including scrub, assist, or circulate.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of perioperative nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Associate of Science in Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare assigned rooms and cases for the Plastics specialty.
- Assess patients and anticipate case needs.
- Facilitate special needs of the surgeon.
- Meet with vendors and keep preference sheets current.
- Serve as the specialist for the service.
- Perform any role in the service, including scrub, assist, or circulate.
- Facilitate timely room turnovers and first-case starts.
