About The Position
Under the general direction of the Nursing Unit management team, the Health Unit Coordinator supports nursing unit operations. The coordinator serves as the receptionist and concierge for patients and visitors, answers incoming phone calls and call lights, monitors supply inventory, and orders and stocks supplies. The position is with Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital and is part of a patient-focused, whole-person care environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of general office and/or Health Unit Coordinator experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the receptionist and concierge for patients and visitors.
- Answer incoming phone calls and call lights.
- Monitor supply inventory.
- Order and stock supplies.
