This position has a full-time equivalency (FTE) of 0.92 and is anticipated to be an 11-month position with the month of June off. The Health Promotion Program Manager advances student well-being and success through the leadership of campus prevention initiatives, peer education, violence prevention, and collaborative campus partnerships. This position reports to the Senior Director of Health Promotion and Counseling and, in collaboration with the Senior Director, advances strategic priorities related to student well-being and prevention. Using a public health and population-based approach, the Health Promotion Program Manager develops innovative, evidence-informed strategies that promote student well-being across multiple domains, including physical, emotional, intellectual, and social health. Health Promotion initiatives are guided by campus data, assessment findings, and student needs, and are regularly evaluated to ensure program effectiveness and impact. This position works collaboratively with the university, community, state, and national organizations to advance prevention efforts and promote a culture of well-being across the St. Thomas campus. The Center for Well-Being is an integrated health center that brings together Health Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Health Promotion to support the holistic well-being of the St. Thomas community. The successful candidate will work in support of the University’s Catholic mission and develop and implement policies, programs, services, and best practices aligned with the Principles of Good Practice for Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities.
