What you will be doing: In this role, you will lead the state’s Immunization Program, a critical public health program that serves to protect the life, health, and safety of Alaskans. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing statewide immunization strategy, major federal grants, and a diverse portfolio of programs that strive to prevent vaccine-preventable diseases across Alaska. You’ll guide strategy, ensure federal compliance, and strengthen partnerships with health care providers, Tribal organizations, and public health leaders. Your leadership will directly shape vaccine access, data systems, and population health outcomes.
