The Grants and Contracts team for the Division of Water plays a critical role in securing and administering funding to maintain and improve water quality in Alaska. Our team supports a variety of programs across the Division, from administering the Alaska Clean Water Actions sub-grants which restore and protect Alaska’s watersheds, to working with rural Alaska villages to fund water and sanitation infrastructure projects through grants and loans. This team is unique in that we are integrated into the Division of Water programs in order to provide the most effective administrative support. Our team is flexible, fun, supportive, and finds value in our Department’s mission. The incumbent will be responsible for providing professional level grant and loan administration for the Facilities Programs, primarily supporting Village Safe Water projects. This may include completion of federal applications, generation of individual community grant and loan origination, closeouts, timely reporting and monitoring, and supervising two lower-level Grants Administrator 2s, and policy and procedure development.
