About The Position
The Assurance Group is hiring a consultative health and life insurance representative to help clients with life insurance, health insurance, and fixed index annuity products. No prior insurance experience is necessary; the company trains agents from a variety of professional backgrounds and also welcomes experienced insurance agents. The role is 100% commission as a 1099 position, with no base salary and a pathway to W-2 employment. Leads and training are provided at no cost. Although the company operates from a home office and agents can set and manage their own hours, appointments with clients take place in person, so this is not a fully remote role. The Assurance Group is a family-owned insurance organization founded in 1988, with representatives nationwide and more than 20 regional offices.
Requirements
- Must be teachable.
- Must be self-motivated for a commission-based sales role.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Life and Health license.
- Must have reliable transportation for in-person client appointments.
- Must be good with people.
Nice To Haves
- Prior insurance agent experience is welcome but not required.
