About The Position
The Assurance Group is hiring a consultative health and life insurance representative to help clients with life insurance, health insurance, and fixed index annuities. The role is suited to someone with strong work ethic and integrity who enjoys helping people. Experienced insurance agents are welcome, but previous insurance experience is not required; the company provides training and support, including for candidates transitioning from other industries. This is a 100% commission 1099 sales role with weekly pay and no base salary. It has a pathway to W-2 employment. The company provides leads and training at no cost, and in-house appointment setters are available. Representatives set and manage their own hours and ultimately meet clients in person, although the company operates from a home office.
Requirements
- Have or be willing to obtain a Life Insurance License; the posting describes a 20-hour online self-study course.
- Have reliable transportation for in-person client meetings.
- Be a people person.
- Demonstrate work ethic and integrity.
Nice To Haves
- Prior insurance sales experience is welcome but not required.
- Experience in another industry may be suitable; the company cites bartenders, servers, teachers, healthcare workers, and former military as examples.
