About The Position

NiteLines USA is seeking a Health Aide to provide basic patient care and help patients or clients develop daily living skills. The role may include taking vital signs and performing other care tasks as directed by a physician or nurse. The position is located at 1915 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31406, and pays $24.00 per hour. The listed shift is 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of continuous experience providing basic patient care in psychiatric healthcare.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., push and pull, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Answer clients’ call signals.
Assist with administering medications and treatments; take vital signs; and/or draw blood or collect other bodily fluids, as directed by a physician or nurse.
Bathe, groom, shave, and dress clients.
Conduct recreational and socialization activities.
Ensure the safety and security of clients.
Feed clients who are unable to feed themselves.
Observe and document patient data, behavior, and activity.
Prepare clients for treatment or examination.
Help clients walk, exercise, and move in and out of bed.
Transport or accompany clients to treatment units using a wheelchair or stretcher.
Receive additional training as required to gain proficiency and experience in all areas.
